Friday Fuel! Before I Die…

Happy Friday!

Before I die….

Last year on my trip to North Carolina I stumbled across a large chalkboard wall in an alley way that had the line “Before I die I want to_______” stenciled all over it. Totally intrigued I walked over and started to read. The wall was covered with people’s personal aspirations, hopes and dreams. It was pretty amazing to say the least and I picked up the piece of chalk with every intention to write something on the wall but minutes went by andddd I had nothing. It was something I had never really thought about and it has been on my mind ever since I walked through that alley. To this day, I am not sure how to answer the question.

Before I Die Wall. I stumbled upon this awesome movement during my visit to Greenville, NC.

Several months later I came across this TedX talk  only to discover that the chalk board wall in Greenville, NC was part of a larger movement. The “Before I Die…” movement started in New Orleans and has made it’s way all over the country. I feel incredibly fortunate to have stumbled upon one of these walls and I appreciate the thought and self exploration is has provoked in me. So, I had to share it with you!

What do you want to do before you die? Can you answer this question here and now and if so, what’s holding you back from getting it done…

Live before you die.

Chumlee’s glamour shot this week is one of my favorites! Thanks to my hubster, Andrew for the great pic. Check out more pics of Chumlee on his Flickr page.
